Congressman Anthony D’Esposito (R-New York), announced his campaign raised $592,452 during the second quarter of 2023 and maintains $931,455 in cash on hand – a strong showing for the Long Island freshman that puts him far ahead of his declared Democratic competitors in the race for New York’s 4th Congressional District. D’Esposito’s second quarter haul places his 2023 fundraising total at over $1.3 million.

“I am extremely honored to represent my Nassau County neighbors in the halls of Congress and bring some much-needed Long Island commonsense to Capitol Hill,” said D’Esposito. “My commitment to fighting for safe streets, affordable communities and a secure border has resonated with Americans across Long Island and led to a record amount of small donor contributions to my campaign during the second quarter of 2023.”

A retired NYPD Detective, D’Esposito has made public safety a cornerstone of his legislative agenda – a priority shared by his South Shore Nassau County neighbors from all ideological backgrounds and party affiliations. Indeed, this commitment to community safety continues to net D’Esposito crossover appeal at the ballot box and led to his victory in a seat previously held by Democrats for over 20 years. D’Esposito’s successful campaign for New York’s 4th Congressional District not only flipped a seat long held by Democrats, but also helped propel Republicans to their current narrow majority in the House of Representatives – a fact which has earned D’Esposito the nickname of “Majority Maker” across Capitol Hill.

“I am here in Washington, D.C. to advance the interests of my South Shore neighbors and ensure Nassau County has a strong and independent voice here in our Nation’s capital,” said D’Esposito. “I will always place the priorities of New York’s 4th Congressional District before party politics and continue working hard for Long Island.”
